ISLAMABAD: Negotiations are underway between provinces and federation during the 6th meeting over the 7th National Finance Commission (NFC) Award.Two new formulas have also come up for discussion, indicating that the meeting may last for a few hours more than expected.Federal Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin is scheduled to give briefing after the meeting on the reservations of the provinces and the new points discussed.According to Finance Ministry of Punjab, the delay has been caused due to non-clearance from Punjab and Sindh.More meetings will have to be convened if no final agreement is reached in today’s meeting.
