Pindi saddened over terrorism incident

RAWALPINDI: The city of Rawalpindi is deeply saddened over the worst terrorism incident occurred yesterday here while the affected areas are being strictly monitored, Geo news reported.The funeral prayers of the martyred police officials and civilians will be said today meanwhile, the investigation team has started collection of evidences from the Parade Lane mosque, the site being victimized of terrorism and also the adjoining areas.The traffic on the Peshawar road and Mall road, joined with Parade Lane mosque, is underway as regular but however, all the offices and educational institutions located on the aforementioned roads remained shut since morning due to security fears, sources said.The Chowke of Parade Lane located on Peshawar road was closed for traffic today but the road was kept open for regular traffic, police sources said.Funeral prayers will be offered at the funeral ground of Race Course Park meanwhile, arrangements have been made for burial of most dead bodies at army graveyard besides, stringing the security measures for both sites – army graveyard and Race Course Park, sources concluded.
