HYDERABAD: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) chief Mian Nawaz Sharif said the Parliament has been made ‘powerless’, adding if the parliament is not strengthened, then the circumstances like the present ones would occur.Addressing the media after offering condolences to the bereaved family of PML-N’s leader Allah Bux Magsi, he said Pakistan and its nation are passing through really critical times at present, adding the times like these never emerged in the entire Pakistani history.The implementation on Charter of Democracy will strengthen the democracy, he maintained.Allah Bux Magsi’s services for the party are valueless, he said.If the parliament is in a position to take its decision on its own account, then Pakistan’s fate would be better off, he believed.Responding a question regarding his meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari, he said it was decided to set agenda before the meeting, so that the meeting proves fruitful.Nawaz, while responding another query, said it is stipulated in Charter of Democracy (CoD) to respect each others’ mandate, path to every conspiracy would be blocked and no effort would be made to topple other’s government.He urged India to stanch interference in Pakistan, adding Pakistan has clear-cut evidences regarding Indian involvement in terror incidents in the country.‘We need to hammer out our policy and should focus on setting our own house in order,’ he added.
