Kamra suicide blast: death toll rises to 8

ATTOCK: The death toll in suicide attack at Aeronautical Complex of Kamrah near Attock mounted to eight, Geo News reported Friday.The deceased include two security personnel and 15 others were injured.The suicide bomber blew himself up at the first security check post near the Complex at 715am today, when people were turning up to report at their duties. The security check post is manned by police and Pak Air Forces personnel.According to Attock Police Chief DPO Fakhar Sultan Raja, the distorted face and other organs of the suicide bombers have been found, adding the bomber was riding a cycle, who blew himself up on being intercepted.Soon afterwards, the security personnel took a security cordon around the blast site and blocked the Attock-Kamrah Road for traffic.According to the PAF sources, at least 15 injured personnel were rushed to the hospital; the statement confirmed the deaths of two security personnel.According to District Police Officer, the search operation was underway when the suicide blast occurred; however following the incident, police took under custody from the area some suspected people having no identity documents.
